He Cares For You

For most of the Christians in this world we are all looking forward to Easter. And it's not about the chocolate and bunnies, real or imagined. Forty days were in front of us, when we started this journey walking with Jesus on His way to the cross. It felt like a life time away and we thought we had lots of time to get our lives in shape. Just so you know, it is twelve days from now.

Are you ready? Have you dealt with stuff and confronted you greatest fears and monsters? Have you connected with someone to journey together like Andrew did with his brother Peter? Or how about sitting listening to Jesus pour His heart out for those that will be on their own in only a few more days?

I still marvel the Jesus didn't just pray to God for the disciples. He prayer to His Father for each one of us that are still listening to the words of John, Peter, Paul, Matthew, Luke and Mark, among others. In these first twenty eight days, have you heard what Jesus is telling us, saying to us, letting us know, He already knows our name.

And if He cared or should I say cares, do you? He paid it all for all my sins, all my doubts. I'm asking myself first and bring you on for the ride. Are we ready to learn how to love Him not just for dying for us but because He is the best friend we could ever have.

What a Friend we have in Jesus . . . carry it to Him in Prayer. Easter is indeed coming.
