MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR

Just to let you know, you are not alone. In all of these last few years, we have at time struggled with things. With ourselves mostly. Each of us have wanted out of what we are in. As I said before, I have prayed more. I have tried to keep positive and believe it or not, filtered much of what I have read and heard through the media and hearsay.

What I have indeed found is God is Good. I find Him in His word and I listened to Him. I have seen Him in nature and in people, especially those who struggled more than I. But there He was in the silence. We depend on Him in every moment of every day while we wait to hear the still soft voice of God calling us to depend on Him.

May this keep us and guide us as we adventure off into the unknown 2022, praying it is better than the last.

Happy New Year!

Peace

Pastor Robin

Just Believe!

GOD BE WITH YOU THIS COMING WEEK.

For the next while we will be continuing to struggle along. In spite of this we will have the three videos on line each Sunday and our On Site service for those who are open to coming and worshiping and seeing each other in fellowship. Two years ago we were told we would never be back to what we were. They were wrong. We will get back similar to what we had in the past, because we need each other.

 HAVE A GREAT WEEK.

PASTORAL SEARCH COMMITTEE UPDATE

The search committee in the last few years has been working to find a replacement to pastor us. Due to many difficulties over this time we have yet to find a suitable candidate. After our presenting the first candidate, we advertised again. We advertised a third time back in the fall and received five applications with none of them suitable for our needs.
Pastor Robin has stayed on especially during the pandemic to steer the ship. We thank him for his dedication to this church. Now at this time he has notified the church board of his intention of stepping back from being our pastor with his last service being Feb 13. At the same time he has said that he is still available to help where he can until the church finds a acceptable candidate for the pastor position.

Yours sincerely;

Ken Ramiah Board Chair

We want to thank those who continues to support us here at Milton Baptist Church, either in our collection plate here at the church or on line from you computer. We await the time as life gets closer to what we remember 2 years ago. At that time all of us will feel more comfortable in joining again in worship here in the building and bring God's Tithe to the sanctuary. Thank you.

You can give your offering on line by using your bank e-transfer. We have set this up for those who continue to want to be part of Milton Baptist as we work our way back to being a fully functioning church here in this city. Please help us to get to where God wants us to be.

The email address for the church is: miltonbaptistca@gmail.com or you can use our phone number 905-875-1626

If you have any questions, please reach out to one of our Directors.
